Held & Shine offers gentle grief support through 1:1 coaching, group grief workshops, a 6-week group grief programme guided by the STILL Method, and creative reflective sessions.
I support people living with grief in all its forms, with a particular depth of experience in partner loss. This includes bereavement as well as other losses that may feel life-changing, disorienting, or hard to name.
No. There is no right stage, timeline, or way to grieve. You are welcome exactly as you are.
No. This is coaching support, not therapy or medical treatment.
Support is offered online, and some in-person options may be available depending on location and the type of support.
Yes. Online sessions make it possible to work together from different locations.
You do not need to know straight away. You’re welcome to book a free introductory call and we can gently explore what feels most supportive for you.
1:1 coaching offers you a private, personalised space to speak openly, reflect, and receive gentle support. Some sessions may focus on what you are feeling in the moment, while others may include reflective exercises, grounding practices, or practical tools.
Anything you are carrying. This might include sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, anxiety, loneliness, identity shifts, relationship changes, or simply the feeling that life no longer makes sense in the way it once did.
No. There is no pressure to fill the space. You are welcome to talk, pause, cry, reflect, or sit quietly if needed.
That depends entirely on you. Some people come for a few sessions during a difficult season, while others want longer-term support. We move at your pace.
No. I work with many kinds of grief, while also bringing a particular depth of experience in partner loss.
These are gentle, theme-based workshops held in community. Each one focuses on a specific part of the grief experience and offers space for reflection, shared understanding, and quiet connection.
No. You are always welcome to share as much or as little as feels right. Listening is also a valid way of taking part.
That is very normal. Many people feel unsure before their first workshop. The space is guided gently, and there is no expectation to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or speak before you are ready.
Yes. The workshops are designed as standalone sessions, so there is no pressure to commit long term.
Themes explore different parts of the grief experience, such as grief waves, the weight in the body, anniversaries and difficult dates, continuing bonds, and making room for both grief and life.
The 6-week Group Grief Programme is a gentle, structured journey through grief, guided by the STILL Method. It offers weekly support, shared reflection, and a steadier container over time.
The workshops are standalone, theme-based sessions. The 6-week programme offers a more connected and structured experience, with each week building gently on the last.
Ideally, yes. The programme is designed as a connected journey, and each session builds on the one before.
The STILL Method is a grief support framework that helps people navigate grief with steadiness, reflection, and compassionate support. In this programme, it offers a gentle structure rather than a rigid system.
Creative Sessions are art-based reflective sessions that offer another way to explore what you are carrying, especially when words feel too limited or too heavy.
Not at all. No artistic skill or experience is needed. These sessions are about expression and reflection, not making something perfect.
These are creative, art-based coaching sessions guided by a STILL Method–trained Art Therapy Coach. They are not clinical art psychotherapy.
Yes. You are welcome to book a free introductory call so we can explore what support may feel right for you.
That is okay. You are welcome to take your time. You do not have to be “ready enough” to reach out.
No. My work is not about rushing grief or forcing healing. It is about creating space, steadiness, and support at your own pace.
